MBH 370: Confocal Microscope (MBH Scientific Instruments and Facilities: Scientific Instruments & Facilities) Capacity: 1

The Confocal Microscope instrumentation is located in MBH 370, in the north wing of the 3rd floor of McCardell Bicentennial Hall.

Instrument operation and use hours are MBH building hours.  Work at all other times must be explicitly authorized

Training requirements before booking and use include:

• MBH Hazard Awareness Training (contact Cathy Ekstrom at cekstrom@middlebury.edu with questions);
• both instrument safety and operations training (contact Kevin Booth at kbooth@middlebury.edu with questions).

Middlebury students, faculty, and staff are eligible to book this instrument.  This instrument requires additional authorization to use, provided the user has the proper safety and operations training.  The prospective user will receive a separate confirmation by e-mail after the booking once a decision has been made.
