MBH 152: ICP-MS / Laser Ablation (MBH Scientific Instruments and Facilities: Scientific Instruments & Facilities) Capacity: 1

The ICP-MS / Laser Ablation instrumentation is located in MBH 152, in the north wing of the 1st floor of McCardell Bicentennial Hall.

Instrument operation and use hours are MBH building hours.  Work at all other times must be explicitly authorized

Training requirements before booking and use include:

• MBH Hazard Awareness Training (contact Cathy Ekstrom at cekstrom@middlebury.edu with questions);
• both instrument safety and operations training (contact Jody Smith at jodys@middlebury.edu with questions).

Middlebury students, faculty, and staff are eligible to book this instrument.  This instrument requires additional authorization to use, provided the user has the proper safety and operations training.  The prospective user will receive a separate confirmation by e-mail after the booking once a decision has been made.
